Hello future Optometrists, I would like to welcome you all to our Sacramento State Optometry website. I, your president, have a very confident, strong, and social personality. I am easy to talk to, so please don’t hesitate in approaching me for any questions including the Optometry major or questions about your undergraduate classes. I am here to help assist you in choosing the right career path for your future. I am very attentive in my services, appreciate punctuality and organization, and am persistent in achieving my goals. I am a straightforward individual that speaks my mind without hesitation, yet with professionalism. I encourage communication which starts with listening, so please feel comfortable giving your views, idea and constructive criticism to help improve our club. I look forward to accepting new members and meeting you all soon.
Why I Chose Optometry: I am personally very fascinated by the structure and development of the eyes and how they mature from adolescence to adulthood.Optometry is the best career choice for me since it provides me the opportunity to help others improve their vision and see the beautiful world around them as is really is. Also, it is a stable occupation that will always prosper universally.

Why I chose Optometry: I absolutely love the one on one patient interaction in a low stress environment. Interning has allowed me to witness countless exams and there is nothing like seeing the relieve in a patient's overall body language and mood when the optometrist is able to answer their questions and really help make a difference in their life that many take for granted.

Why I chose Optometry: Optometry is a great career and I have pursued it ever since I can remember. Why I Chose Optometry: I’ve always found a great interest in science and math and find this field to be the most convenient for me. Becoming an optometrist would be most interesting to me because I find it to be an environment I can see myself working with patient consultations, medicine studies, and eye care.
